Alexandra will be covering Wife 1 and appearing in the ensemble in Aleksandra Vrebalov’s The Knock directed by Allison Moritz and conducted by TBA at Central City Opera.

This patriotic opera of heartache and hope tells the story of military wives awaiting news of their husbands deployed in Fallujah during the Iraq war. Years of interviews with military spouses performed by librettist Deborah Brevoort, and the moving score by Aleksandra Vrebalov, bring to life the sacrifices and bravery of those far from the lines of combat.
